Paris 1965<\/p>\n

She had a very nomadic childhood. From the age of 19, she begins to work in very diverse sectors, from agriculture to music.
\nShe spent some time in the circus world and also lived for 8 years in South America.
\nLater she discovered her pictorial vocation when she posed as a model for the painter Toshima Yasumasa in Granada (Andalusia).
\nSince 1993 she regularly exhibits her work in France, Spain, Germany and Belgium.<\/p>\n

Valerie Blanchard paints what goes on and passes before her eyes, like others photographing, at the mercy of her travels and pilgrimages, places where she lives …
\nHer paintings represent small everyday scenes of the human being, on the beach, in bars, neighborhood parties, shopping … as a sociology study, which instead of expressing with lyrics, does so with images.<\/p>\n

After taking notes and sketches in a notebook, she returns to her workshop to capture with paintings on the canvas.
\nHer work is full of bright colors, inside 1 style falsely \u00abnaif\u00bb and with a note of irony. The abundance in details, requires of the spectator, a slow and meticulous observation.
\nHer work resembles an \u00abAfro – Latin American\u00bb mestizaje, influenced by Botero, but with a style that makes her work truly unique.<\/p>\n

Par\u00eds 1965<\/em><\/p>\n

Tuvo una infancia muy n\u00f3mada. A partir de los 19 a\u00f1os, comienza a trabajar en sectores muy diversos, desde la agricultura a la m\u00fasica.<\/em>
\nPaso cierto tiempo en el mundo del circo y tambi\u00e9n vivi\u00f3 8 a\u00f1os en Sudam\u00e9rica.<\/em>
\nPosteriormente descubri\u00f3 su vocaci\u00f3n pict\u00f3rica cuando posaba para el pintor Toshima Yasumasa en Granada (Andaluc\u00eda).<\/em>
\nDesde 1993 expone regularmente su obra en Francia, Espa\u00f1a, Alemania y B\u00e9lgica.<\/em><\/p>\n

Valerie Blanchard pinta lo que desfila y pasa ante sus ojos, a merced de sus viajes y peregrinaciones, lugares donde vive …<\/em>
\nSus pinturas representan peque\u00f1as escenas cotidianas del ser humano, en la playa, dentro de los bares, fiestas de barrio, de compras …. como un estudio de sociolog\u00eda, que en lugar de expresar con letras, lo hace con im\u00e1genes .<\/em><\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s de tomar notas y bocetos en una libreta, que siempre lleva con ella, vuelve a su taller para plasmar con pinturas sobre el lienzo.<\/em>
\nSu obra est\u00e1 llena de vivos colores, dentro un estilo falsamente \u00abnaif\u00bb y con una nota de iron\u00eda. La abundancia en detalles, requiere del espectador,\u00a0 una observaci\u00f3n lenta y minuciosa.<\/em>
\nSu obra se parece a un \u00abmestizaje afro – latinoamericano\u00bb,\u00a0 con influencias de Botero, pero con un estilo que hace que su trabajo sea realmente \u00fanico.<\/em><\/p>\n
